Since its inception in 2005, the New York Polish Film Festival has awarded the “Beyond Borders” prize, in the name of Krzysztof Kieślowski, to films which transcend national boundaries. The award is presented to the film that successfully illuminates the human spirit. Our carefully composed jury–comprised of prominent figures in film, culture, and art–will determine the festival’s highest prize.
